The annual plant sale is one the program\u2019s biggest fundraisers. In addition to the free tour of the greenhouse and 4,000 square foot garden, hundreds of plants and vegetable starts will be available for purchase, with suggested donations starting at just $1. Students have also made bird houses and home composting worm bins which will be available for sale.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px\">\u201cI would really encourage people to stop by for a tour, even if you don\u2019t consider yourself a gardener,\u201d said Amanda Halama, an AmeriCorps volunteer at the school. \u201cThere are great things happening here at CHHS, and we want to continue to build our connections with our community members so that we can better share our stories of success.\u201d<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px\">College Hill High School is an alternative education program of the Corvallis School District serving at-risk youth.
