duties include:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Directly perform simple tasks throughout the Corvallis campus that save energy and water<\/li><li>Retrieve and review construction documents from the&nbsp;OSU&nbsp;Plan Center and Digital Vault<\/li><li>Attend project meetings, review project documents, and act as an ambassador for the Sustainability Office<\/li><li>Improve&nbsp;OSU&nbsp;building efficiency via heating and cooling system optimization<\/li><li>Read&nbsp;OSU&nbsp;utility meters as part of OSU\u2019s utility billing and conservation efforts<\/li><li>Track performance of and physically upkeep OSU\u2019s solar arrays<\/li><li>Lead student work groups in service projects, such as landscaped and natural areas cleanups<\/li><li>Transport and setup the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OSUSolarTrailer\/\"><strong>OSU&nbsp;Solar Trailer<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;(5000 lb. complex device towed by pickup class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university&nbsp;<\/li><li>Clear and consistent communication and excellent interpersonal skills<\/li><li>Excellent precision, attention to detail, timelines, and organizational skills<\/li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Personal commitment to and general knowledge of basic sustainability principles<\/li><li>Project management experience, including reading construction documents<\/li><li>Familiarity with energy-saving technologies,&nbsp;HVAC,&nbsp;and Building Control Systems<\/li><li>Coursework or experience with green building technologies<\/li><li>Experience towing trailers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On average, this position requires around 12 hours a week. Work schedule is somewhat flexible but must remain responsive to workload.
