On Thursday, March 3, make sure you attend the workshop CWU Sustainability Certificate and OSU Sustainability Engagement Program<\/a>, featuring OSU’s Sustainability Assessment Manager, Leticia Cavazos Sanchez. The Sustainability Certificate was created to provide an avenue for students to gain enhanced problem-solving and communication skills to better prepare them for the workforce and growing market of sustainability related jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, March 4, don’t miss the Climate Action Planning: Charting a Course to Campus Carbon Neutrality<\/a>, featuring our very own Brandon Trelstad, OSU’s Sustainability Officer. Find out how Oregon State University has reduced emissions by a 39% reduction per student and 47% reduction per square foot of building space since 2010. Learn about the University of Washington\u2019s ambitious plans to transform their energy infrastructure, and more on how Western Washington University established a Sustainability Engagement Institute<\/a> to oversee the comprehensive implementation of their Sustainability Action Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
