We can&#8217;t wait to see how they plan to improve their score and go for Platinum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">About the Certification:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fa.oregonstate.edu\/green-labs-certification\">The Green Lab Certification<\/a>&nbsp;is a simple yet effective way for OSU faculty and staff to further their sustainability efforts and get recognition for their work. It is also intended to provide new ideas for easy steps your lab can take to reduce your environmental footprint and carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes the shape of an online survey that assesses current lab practices under five categories: Utilities, Waste Management, Purchasing, Transportation and Travel, and Outreach, Engagement, and Professional Development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Possible Certification Levels:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Copper (50-59%)<\/li><li>Silver (60-69%)<\/li><li>Gold (70-79%)<\/li><li>Platinum (80+%)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t work in an Lab but are still interested in \u2018greening\u2019 your space?
