My first Bachelor&#8217;s degree was in Sociology followed by a Master&#8217;s degree in International Education. I had a very rewarding career in the field of study abroad for over a decade which took me around the world until Covid hit. While I was already interested in computer science, the pandemic became the deciding catalyst for me to pursue a career change into software development. Originally I had an interest and goal of going into EdTech, although more recently, educational game development has piqued my interest. I am also interested in a career (and therefore capstone project) that has a larger social and\/or environmental purpose\/focus in some way.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of travel and school, I love to do puzzles and craft projects, socialize with friends, watch sports, cook, hike and go camping (when it&#8217;s not too cold!).<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Kristin Eberman<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am originally from Portland, OR and now live in Seattle, WA.
