Sativa Cruz comes to us from the Southwest, where she earned a B.S. in Environmental Science at New Mexico State University. She is working with Michael Nelson and is pursuing a degree in Forest Ecosystems and Society while participating in the EAH program. In her first year she is funded through the Long-term Ecological Research (LTER) grant in the College of Forestry.
