Laura Bennett earned her B.S. in Horticulture at Oregon State University while working her way through the many facets of Gathering Together Farm in Philomath, Oregon. She is now their Farmers’ Market Coordinator and self-proclaimed Vegucator, intent on guiding society in a more sustainable direction through a deeper connection with food and community. On campus, you can visit the food forest that she designed on the east side of McNary Dining Hall, an interactive space where food is being grown, harvested, and eaten by the students in the dorm.
