This week in class we began on our projects for the rest of the semester and coming to a decision on what topic I will be doing. In class, we focused on the beginning step of a project with is empathy, really listening to the consumer and their wants and needs for a product. I also began to think what may hinder my thinking process in the beginning like creating objectives too early, which would put my thoughts into a restricted thinking space. Keeping in mind that (for this project) I will designing to solve a problem that people face, I need to remember about consumerism. As much I think about the design and everything involved in it, consumers will look at the basic object without much deeper thinking.
