I opened up my browser, went to canvas to get information on my new classes, and the rest is history. In those two years, I&#8217;ve worked hard and smart to learn as much as I could to prepare myself to become the best software engineer I can be. After many long days, times of frustration, and many small wins later, I&#8217;m in my final quarter at Oregon State and ready to take on the machine learning world as I start as a full-time machine engineer this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a successful internship experience, I received a full-time offer to return once I graduated. Although this position has been a dream since I decided to transition, I still feel nervous about the increased expectations. I feel grateful for the problem-solving and troubleshooting skills that I developed during my time at Oregon State. Throughout my time in the summer internship, I was constantly challenged to think outside the box and create solutions that had not previously existed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my final quarter as a student, I&#8217;m still hungry to continually develop my software development skills with my team.
