My OSU journey
When it started
I began my OSU journey two years ago after transferring my credits from a small community college over to Oregon State. I then started taking cyber security classes because, at the time, I was trying to find the niche that I was interested in. As soon as I started to take those classes, I realized that cyber security was something that I had a genuine interest in, and I wanted to pursue that even further. I started to take every course that I could that was under that focus and courses that were even semi-under that focus. That was just how much I enjoyed that niche. While at Oregon State, I also worked on many side projects and put many of the skills that I learned from my professors to use. I was not just learning from them at a base level; I was learning from them at an applicable level.
How it ended
How is it ending? It is ending on a great note. I have met many great people even through the online program that I would call my friends that have helped me build great projects, helped me understand homework that was just not getting through to me, and just getting through my day to day. My grades are great; I will be graduating with a 3.8 GPA, and I already have a job lined up for me when I graduate.
