We have made it to the midpoint. Phew! It’s been a long journey to get to the midpoint. The last few weeks have been full of hard work and late nights, but it is accomplishing to see all the progress I have made so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am really proud of all the progress I’ve made so far. I have completed three separate sign-in flows (email\/password, email link, phone number), the new ticket form, and the beginning of the dashboard\/ticket list. The new ticket form still needs to include some additional steps such as uploading attachments and creating a new location form. Additionally, there are some UI tweaks I need to make. Those will be the next steps I make. So far though, it has been really fun to work on something I can take complete ownership of and it has been a very rewarding process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s another thing I’d like to reflect on now that we are at the midpoint. Since I am doing an industry project for my capstone, I feel an extra pressure to deliver a high quality project. I hold myself to high standards, and I want to provide a valuable, usable product to the company I work for. So on top of the stress of doing well for school and to showcase to future employers, I feel (self-induced) pressure to create something really great. While it has been a motivator, it has also been a source of stress. I try and remind myself that great things take time and to give myself grace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, I am happy to be at the midpoint and reflect on all I have accomplished so far. I look forward to continuing on and creating an awesome website!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
