<\/p>\nI started my CS program at the beginning of the pandemic just outside Washington DC, when no commute and vanishingly rare social engagements freed up my nights and weekends.\u00a0 After thousands of lines of code, moments of rage at uncooperative functions, 2 whiteboards delivered by Amazon, and just enough ‘aha’ moments, I find myself about to graduate with a 2nd bachelors degree, all while adjusting to life in a new country.\u00a0 Having landed just 4 days ago, we’ve moved to Israel due to my partner’s job.<\/p>\n

At first, this blog will focus on my last class: Oregon State’s Capstone for computer science<\/strong>.\u00a0 I will also begin to cover my job search. Known as the “start-up nation”, tech jobs abound in Israel.\u00a0 But how important is Hebrew fluency?\u00a0 Dev experience?
