I was able to apply because I signed up for notifications on any open jobs they had and I made sure to apply for a few that I was qualified for. I was able to secure an interview with one of the jobs I applied for and it will take place next week. Considering the fact that I had less than a few months until I get out of school, I hoped they would wait for me to fully start if things went well in our interview. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My impression of the state when I applied was a good one. I have heard great things about working for the state. I know there was stability and room for opportunities. Also, the culture wasn&#8217;t super competitive, unlike other places.
