It\u2019s also worth looking at the <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/garden-future\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/garden-future\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OSU Garden Future link<\/a>. This is a project that is gathering information on the effects of a shifting climate, particularly as observed by Oregon gardeners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I point this out since this fall\u2019s \u201crainy season\u201d seems to be mild in the Gold Beach area. None the less, be sure to check for drainage problems since heavy rains are bound to come, and consult the garden calendars below for the many other tasks a gardener can do over the winter.
