Samantha McGee<\/a> and Paula Weiss<\/a> are the 2022-23 CTL Fellows in the College of Science (COS). Their CTL Fellows\u2019 focus is on teaching faculty in the Learning Assistant (LA) Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

COS CTL Fellows\u2019 2022-23 Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In their CTL Fellow roles, Samantha and Paula have the following three overarching goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Goal 1<\/strong>: Support the growth of the College of Science LA Program and address specific needs\/topics by creating and hosting LA workshops for faculty who are new(-ish) to working with LAs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Goal <\/strong>2: Increase the evaluation of LA supported courses through the creation and pilot of a midterm and end-of-term evaluation mechanism for LA supported courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Goal 3<\/strong>: Support the growth and culture of the College of Science LA Program through a Faculty Learning Community LA Coffee Hour, 1:1 consults, and email\/newsletters.\n
