My name is Corey McFarland and I am an accountant turned developer.

I previously had a career in public accounting auditing clients across a wide range of industries. I started my auditing track with manufacturers, hospitals, and other mid-size business and eventually found my way into auditing governmental entities like cities and towns, fire departments, water and power groups, and state entities.

During this time I listened to one to many podcasts about the marvels of code. These podcasts happened to make me realize that with more years of work ahead of me than years that I had lived, I needed to do something I was far more passionate about!

Thus I flipped the track signal and veered off into starting a career in computer science, striving to find a way for me to end up in the fields of game development or artificial intelligence.
