The new grad experience is definitely difficult when on the job hunt, so it always feels great to get a callback on any of your applications.

I’ve tried to be a bit better at targeting certain jobs to apply for, rather than sending out a huge wave across any position, and I feel I have been getting a much higher response rate. Of my 10 most recent applications, I received 4 follow ups and phone calls which was excellent even though one was to tell me they were going a different direction but wanted to keep track of my experience for future positions. This really leads me to believe my recent changes have been very effective!

All of this is to say that its important to stay diligent in your job search and really prepare your resume to target the positions you want.
