An article in\u00a0<em>Urban Studies\u00a0<\/em>that uses two case studies from Los Angeles to demonstrate that it is overwhelmingly redlined neighbourhoods that have remained marginalised, becoming civilly enjoined \u2018gang\u2019 neighbourhoods faced with oppressive anti-gang policing tactics over the past few decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1111\/0033-0124.00308\">The Professional Geographer, Special Issue on Geography and Race\/Racism (2004)<\/a>.
