{"id":392,"date":"2024-09-16T11:31:15","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T18:31:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/cqls\/?p=392"},"modified":"2024-11-21T08:42:47","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T16:42:47","slug":"cqls-transitions-to-osus-relms-ordering-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/cqls\/2024\/09\/16\/cqls-transitions-to-osus-relms-ordering-system\/","title":{"rendered":"CQLS Transitions to OSU&#8217;s RELMS ordering system"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Division of Research and Innovation is combining Center and Institute facility ordering systems into RELMS (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/research.oregonstate.edu\/relms\">https:\/\/research.oregonstate.edu\/relms<\/a>) to streamline user management, ordering and billing, instrument usage, and equipment calendar reservations. The CQLS is beginning to transfer our weborder system into RELMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CQLS will create 3 separate RELMS sites, each containing multiple CQLS services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CQLS Shared Instrumentation and Microscopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CQLS Genomics Core<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CQLS HPC, Research Consulting, and Training<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We will move services individually as we transition to RELMS. A service that has transitioned to RELMS will not be available in CQLS weborder. When a service moves we will notify users via the CQLS-Community email list and with a notification on the weborder site. Once a service has moved you will need to create a RELMS account to order this service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective September the following services will be moved to RELMS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extractions (DNA and RNA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Genotyping by Sequencing (GBS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective October the following additional CQLS services will move to RELMS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Illumina Sequencing (MiSeq and NextSeq)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sample preparations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bioanalyzer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DNA size selection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PacBio Sequencing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TapeStation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bioinformatics Consulting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective November the following services will be moved to RELMS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Biocomputing (HPC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please request a RELMS account using one of the following links:<br>OSU Faculty\/Staff Students:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oregonstate.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_782PHrAZwIFVilM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/oregonstate.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_782PHrAZwIFVilM<\/a><br>External Users:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oregonstate.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_7OKXvp5M5Q5VpI2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/oregonstate.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_7OKXvp5M5Q5VpI2<\/a><br>and visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/relms.oregonstate.edu\/facilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/relms.oregonstate.edu\/facilities<\/a>\u00a0to find the CQLS service that you want to order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you again for your patience and support as we transition to RELMS.
