- As the Health Promotion & Education Intern, you will play a key role in gathering and translating community insights into actionable public health recommendations. Specifically, you will:
- Analyze, synthesize, transcribe, and compile data from a survey and interviews with community members impacted by PFAS well water contamination.
- Identify health education needs related to home gardening in affected communities.
- Write a report of findings using agency templates in collaboration with your mentor.
- Apply plain language standards to ensure information is accessible to a broad audience.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Site Assessment and Toxicology section alongside your mentor.
- Distribute the final report to community partners and other external partners.
