About Me
I am a 4th year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Oregon State University and a private pilot since 2018. I have a strong interest in the field of aviation, whether it is flying aircraft or designing the avionics used in the cockpits.
My capstone project was the Advance Alignment System for the Heads Up Display. Using magnets, my team designed a system that monitors HUDs, used in Airliners, to determine whether the HUDs are aligned or not. The system will give pilots an alarm if a HUD is misaligned and providing inaccurate information. My role was to program the serial UART communication between a web server and the microprocessor board. I also designed and fabricated the enclosure for the microprocessor.
