Four student ambassadors from OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, Sarah Tauber, Karyn Zittel, Michael Glynn and Paul Schiffgens, visited several classes at Elmira High School on December 15, 2009. In presenting a personal view of what made each of them choose the path towards a career in veterinary medicine, they gave the high school students an insight into the profession that they could not receive from a book. Their visit was much appreciated as part of Elmira High School’s goal to provide its students with the opportunity for learning academic and social skills.
