How long have you been at Oregon State?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been here 20 years. I\u2019ve worked in the College of Forestry and the College of Agricultural Sciences. I moved back to the College of Forestry for good in 2006, and I\u2019m currently the administrative manager for the department of Forest Ecosystems and Society.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite part of your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The people. That\u2019s why I came back to the college. Everyone is very friendly and fun to laugh with. We had so much fun at the college\u2019s holiday party this year.<\/p>\n

What do you do outside work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like to go camping all year long, ride four wheelers and travel.<\/p>\n

Where are some of your favorite spots?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My latest trips were to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks, and also to Arizona. I like to see new things.<\/p>\n

Are you a native Oregonian?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. I\u2019ve lived here my whole life and graduated from Philomath High School. I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever leave. My kids are here and my new granddaughter.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite food?
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mexican food!<\/p>\n

How do you unwind after work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I play a lot of mindless Facebook games.<\/p>\n

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine, what would it be and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Probably vacuuming my long-haired cat\u2019s hair.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite part of the holidays?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Probably just spending time with my kids and laughing together.<\/p>\n

You have a lot of bears in your office. What\u2019s that about?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I collect bears! I like them because they seem so soft and cuddly, not that I\u2019d like to run into one in the wild!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
