I came from a lot of different places. I worked at Eastern Oregon University in Salem, and before that, I was a stay-at-home mom for eight years. I\u2019ve moved and lived in a lot of different places, but I grew up in Dallas, and three of my uncles attended Oregon State, so I was happy to end up here. We see all kinds of undergraduate and graduate students come through and we get to help them in a variety of ways: finding a job or internship,\u00a0 scholarships, or matching them up in the Mentored Employment Program. In everything we do, we\u2019re seeking to better connect them to the college or potential future employers to help enhance their experience. We have a full house. It\u2019s crazy with lots of people, with lots of personality, going in lots of different directions. We also have a dog and two cats. When I\u2019m not working, I try to get outside a little bit. We took up kayaking this summer. I also like to garden, read, listen to music and take my dog on walks.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Did you have a good summer?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I had a pretty calm summer. I did a lot of small staycations at home with the kids. We didn\u2019t really travel too far out of the area, but that\u2019s OK because I love it here in Oregon.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An ice skater or a fighter pilot.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you didn\u2019t have to sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I would fit in more walks or workouts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What\u2019s your favorite thing to watch on TV?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sports. We are big fans of the Beavers and the Trail Bazers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tacos every day! Or some type of Mexican food.
