When I was first starting out with job searching, I didn’t know a whole lot on how much information was out there. Here’s my number one site that really helped me out.
- Glassdoor
This website has everything from general sentiment on the company, to interview questions, to salaries. Some might say that they let companies delete negative reviews for money like yelp does, but no one really knows for sure. All I know is, if you have an interview coming up, even if it’s not a super well known company try searching for them. You’ll probably find more information than you’d think.
Another caveat for interviews deals with this current age of online zoom interviews. I don’t know about you but, when I have an interview I get so nervous I often can’t clearly remember what they asked at the end, or what I said to them. If you would like to combat this, one thing you can try is recording the interview. Now, you’ll want to check the legality of this in your state, but if it is legal, you can provide yourself with valuable insight on what you need to work on more / the exact topics that you were interviewed on instead of just remembering through a haze of adrenaline.
I hope you enjoyed the article dear reader!
