Interns help businesses improve efficiency, save money and reduce waste through projects based on&nbsp;preventing pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interns&nbsp;are&nbsp;<strong>PAID<\/strong>,&nbsp;and the program is&nbsp;<strong>FREE<\/strong>&nbsp;for&nbsp;first-time businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a win-win program that supports environmental workforce development, waste reduction, environmental protection and economic savings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By the end of the internship, each intern will provide the business and project team&nbsp;the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a final detailed&nbsp;project report, following OASE&#8217;s outline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a case study summarizing the project for an external audience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a presentation of project results to be delivered to the project team, business management, and external partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Host business applications will be due February 17, 202<\/strong>4.\u00a0Before submitting an application, please\u00a0review the OASE Program Information section below and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:%20OASEinternship@gmail.com\">contact us<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to discuss your project idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Please review the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/seagrant.oregonstate.edu\/sites\/seagrant.oregonstate.edu\/files\/2023_oase_host_biz_appa.pdf\">Host Business Responsibilities<\/a>, and then click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSecXaXpSlxv5hFGB0bc_RQBut8pjbC1GRiMzqqK7AFW0zkGpQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>&nbsp;to apply.&nbsp; If you need the application in a different format, please let us know.
