It was developed by Oregon Sea Grant and Oregon State University Extension, with support from the Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) and Travel Oregon. The content is organized into four courses: Global, National, State, and Local Region. <span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Global content is useful business information for all guides, anywhere, including group management, customer service, sustainability, marketing, personal interpretation skills, basic terrestrial and marine ecology. National and state courses provide key economic, agencies, and natural feature information. Local course provides identification of 101 local species of plants and animals, knowledge of local history, natural resource agencies, and tourism organizations. All this helps prepare you to meet the Adventure Travel Trade Association\u2019s International Adventure Travel Guide Qualifications and Performance Standard (The ATTA Guide Standard).
