Process Updates

Self-Report of Compromised Accounts

Please note that the process for compromised accounts has been updated slightly. If a customer self-reports that their account has been compromised, we should go through the steps to help them change their password, and notify them that IAM will still be deactivating their account. The reason for the deactivation is to ensure that the account has been cleaned up, which includes ending open sessions and checking for malware in the person’s web space. After deactivation and reactivation, the customer will need to change their password a second time. We should make them aware of this ahead of time, so they are not surprised by the process.

Knowledge Base Updates

Please note: as I update KB articles, I have been setting the review data, typically for about 1 year in the future. If you see an article with no review date set, or a review date in the past, that is an indication that the information may be out-of-date.
