Firefox and Chrome scheduled releases

For those that are interested,

I was doing some digging and found the release schedule for chrome and firefox.  Chrome version 44 comes out May 15th, with version 45 following on June 26th. Firefox ESR version 38 will be released on May 19th, support for version 31 will end on August 11th.

If you would like to reference this information and look at more future date information.

  1. The chrome calendar is for the branch points, which are different from release dates. For example, Chrome 42 (42.0.2311.135 m) is the current release version of Chrome, but the branch point for 43 was April 3rd. Google doesn’t put out exact release dates, but typically releases the next major version every six weeks.

e.g. Chrome 45 (when NPAPI support is due to be removed) is currently slated to release in September – https://www.chromium.org/developers/npapi-deprecation
