{"id":7719,"date":"2024-04-25T22:58:14","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T22:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/?p=7719"},"modified":"2024-04-25T22:58:14","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T22:58:14","slug":"rescheduled-4-26-nw-natural-work-on-washington-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/2024\/04\/25\/rescheduled-4-26-nw-natural-work-on-washington-way\/","title":{"rendered":"Rescheduled 4\/26: NW Natural Work on Washington Way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>This is an update to a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/2024\/04\/23\/4-24-sw-30th-st-sw-washington-way-natural-gas-service-switch-over\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/2024\/04\/23\/4-24-sw-30th-st-sw-washington-way-natural-gas-service-switch-over\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">previous notification<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NW Natural Gas service switchover originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 24 has been rescheduled <strong>for Friday, April 26.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NW Natural Gas will be performing a natural gas service switchover in areas along Washington Way between SW 35<sup>th<\/sup> St and SW 30<sup>th<\/sup> St. The A.A Red Emmerson Advanced Wood Products Laboratory will be without natural gas service for the entire day. The switch over requires draining the line, which creates a very loud noise (similar to a jet engine) as pressure is released. There will also be a natural gas odor at this time which will naturally dissipate into the atmosphere.
