{"id":6898,"date":"2023-08-07T18:47:13","date_gmt":"2023-08-07T18:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/?p=6898"},"modified":"2023-08-07T18:47:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T18:47:13","slug":"8-9-planned-power-outage-at-cordley-west","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/closurenotices\/2023\/08\/07\/8-9-planned-power-outage-at-cordley-west\/","title":{"rendered":"8\/9 &#8211; Planned Power Outage at Cordley West"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fa.oregonstate.edu\/project-delivery\/cordley-hall-renewal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cordley Hall Renewal Project<\/a>, there will be a planned power outage impacting Cordley Hall West <strong><u>on Wednesday, August 9 from 7 A.M. to 8 A.M.<\/u><\/strong> The building generator will operate during the outage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:#8ed1fc\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>What do you need to do to prepare for this\u00a0outage?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/mark>Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off\u00a0<strong>prior to Wednesday, August 9.<\/strong>\u00a0If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees scheduled to work when buildings are without power should consult with their supervisors regarding work schedules.
