As part of the Washington Way Improvement<\/a> project, crosswalks will be closed on a rotating schedule at the intersection of 26th<\/sup> St. and Washington Way. The work will impact only one crosswalk at a time, while maintaining alternate pedestrian routes in the other three directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intersection will remain open to vehicle traffic throughout the day. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic and assist pedestrians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exact timing of each closure may vary, but the approximate schedule is as follows. From 7 \u2013 10 a.m., the Washington Way crosswalk on the east side of 26th<\/sup> St. will be closed for north\/south travel. From 10 a.m. \u2013 3 p.m., the 26th<\/sup> St. crosswalk on the north side of Washington Way will be closed for east\/west travel. From 3 \u2013 6 p.m., the Washington Way crosswalk on the west side of 26th<\/sup> St. will be closed for north\/south travel. All other crossings will remain open when these individual crosswalks close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
