For work related to the\u00a0Oak Creek greenhouse project, an electrical shutdown is scheduled for the west wing of the Oak Creek Building. The electrical shutdown is scheduled to occur from 6-10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022. The shutdown will impact the first and second floors of the building\u2019s west wing, and lunch room 227 on the second floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three stand-up freezers within the west wing of the building will be temporarily powered by generators during the shutdown. The walk-in cooler in the older wood greenhouse building will be temporarily powered by back feeding the building panel from the electrical panel inside the existing greenhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage?<\/strong>\u00a0Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to\u00a0the start of the scheduled stand-by generator testing. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
