Welcome to my first blog post! My name is Tyler Chin and I am beginning my final quarter at OSU before I complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

I am currently making a career change, as my first degree was in Chemical Engineering. I recently completed my first Software Engineering internship and I am glad to say it helped confirm that this move was the right one for me! It would have been disappointing if after all this time and effort that I discovered Software Engineering was not for me, but I’m happy to say that I loved every minute of my internship and I cannot wait to begin working full time in the industry.

I am excited to begin the Capstone project and to add another great project to my resume. I am open to learning some new technologies but I would also enjoy building upon my skillset in the technologies I have already worked with.

I’ll be eagerly waiting to see what project I am put on and who my new teammates are!
