Positive Culture and ensuring that my career is going to be sustainable and challenging are top priorities for me when I am searching for jobs. Texas Health Inc. is an amazing non-profit Healthcare company that highlights amazing qualities because of its Human Resource Management. Due to the high communication levels, the prioritization of internal motivation by providing growth opportunities, and a sense of belonging, it makes people want to work there. It seems based on the reviews that there is a high-level of engagement from the HR Management department which is something that I value as someone who wants to cultivate an interconnected environment in the healthcare system.
Hilton interested me as well because usually it is not very enjoyable to work in the Hospitality Industry, especially as a HR Manager. It seems the employees receive pretty good benefits as well including travel bonuses, and good learning opportunities. The challenges I see in this though that I could potentially be passionate about changing is there have been some complaints about HR responsiveness, and hours scheduled based on location/ management style. I think there should be a better schedule for when HR checks their notifications so they can be more responsive to employee issues that most likely only really matter in the moment. As a manager in the hospitality industry I would also change the type of scheduling they do for overnight shifts.
Finally, Delta Airlines was highly ranked for excellent customer service, and quick responses from HR. They also are unique financially in the sense that they profit share, which means that you could be potentially making a lot of money depending on the season, and your position. In commercial flight, as an HR Manager I would want to maintain constant communication, and act on feedback from employees.
