Traveling the world has always been an interest of mine. I’ve traveled around Asia some and found a passion for experiencing new cultures. Working or studying abroad would be a wonderful opportunity. although permanently relocating isn’t some thing that I am interested in doing for a job, I would consider taking on a temporary position in another country. Of course I would have a few criteria that would have to be met in order for me to seriously consider it.
my first concern would be if choosing to relocate would inevitably lead to a permanent position abroad. I’d be more inclined to take on a position that would only require to be abroad for a year or two; a more permanent relocation wouldn’t suit my lifestyle. Thought the experience would be a once in a lifetime chance, my relationship with my family would complicate things one it was going to be permanent.
Another concern would or course be where the position would be. I would be interested in taking on a roll in Europe but other than that I wouldn’t be so inclined to take on a job in just any country, the language barrier isn’t something I’d like to deal with long term.
