Increased sanitary practices has decreased human interaction with microbes. One practice I do frequently is use hand sanitizer which can kill the microbes on your hands. Another practice is drinking water that has been “cleaned” which reduces the intake of microbes into the body. Another practice is just general cleaning and sanitizing surfaces so that microbes can’t grow. One thing I do is clean my produce before I eat it. This reduces the amount of microbes on the produce that I eat.
