The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) Association of Graduate Students is an organization that includes and values the voices of all people. As such, we recognize the social barriers that have systematically marginalized and excluded people and communities based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, socioeconomic background, age, disability, national origin and religion. We are committed to the equity of opportunities, and strive to promote and advance diverse communities. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee is composed of graduate and postdoctoral students that are passionate about enacting real change within the broader academic institution and CEOAS community. The goal of our committee is to be a voice for the CEOAS graduate students, to help identify issues, and work collaboratively to inspire institutional changes in the sciences. We do this through a variety of programs and outreach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
