Introductory Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to my blog! My name is Breanna, but you can call me Bre.<\/p>\n<p>I am in my last quarter of the post-bacc Computer Science program. Prior to starting the program, I received a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly SLO and worked in the construction industry as a Project Manager for a mechanical contractor. After a few years, I realized I wanted to focus more on the engineering side of things. As a software engineer, my fianc\u00e9 felt that I would really enjoy coding and that I should give it a shot. After looking through some Udemy courses, I decided to apply to OSU&#8217;s post-bacc program and start my journey to becoming a software engineer. So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the classes I&#8217;ve taken for the post-bacc program and am very much looking forward to graduating in December.<\/p>\n<p>I am currently working for Optum as a Technology Development Program Associate. The Technology Development Program is a rotational program during which I have two 6-month assignments. My current role is more geared towards project management, but I am hoping to have a software engineering role in my next rotation.<\/p>\n<p>In my free time, I like to workout, spend time with friends and family, and play videogames. I love trying new hobbies, and I&#8217;m currently taking a ceramics class with a friend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to my blog!
