Can I just say, the weather is beginning to take a turn. I walked around campus today in 34 degree temperatures and felt like I was on the verge of freezing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now that Winter is upon us and Fall is coming to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the Fall term, my last one as an undergraduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This term was difficult. I am in the accelerated masters program here at Oregon State and had my first grad course this fall, along with 10 other credits. It has been difficult to maintain a level of understanding that I was used to in my courses in years prior. Before, I was able to pretty much understand everything that was taught and even spent time learning more than what’s expected. Now, it feels like I am just trying to keep up with nearly 50% of the material. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing that I need to get in the habit of doing is reviewing the material throughout the term instead of waiting until exams are upon me. However, it’s soooo much easier said than done. Often when I have a spare moment, I just want to relax or sleep, not sit and review material I don’t understand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, it’s been a really good Fall term, and it’s a bit bitter sweet to acknowledge that it is my final Fall term as an undergraduate. Lucky for me, I will have one more year of my masters, so it’s not my final Fall term in general. All in all, it was a good one and it flew by like Fall terms always do. Let’s hope Winter term goes as smoothly and that winter break drags on \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
