Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The workshop is co-organized by School of Visual, Performing, and Design Arts and School of Writing, Literature and Film, Oregon State University. During the program, a select group of students from Beijing Normal University will participate in intensive lectures, discussion sessions, and other activities. The main goals of the workshop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Introduce major theories and methods in literary study and related humanistic fields through interdisciplinary discussion sessions and case studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enhance college-level English academic writing and graduate-level research and writing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience American culture in-depth and understand major issues in contemporary American society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
