My wife and I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment around March of this year before we found out she was pregnant. The extra bedroom is our office since she has a hybrid work schedule and my schooling is online. So, since it’s recommended that newborns sleep in the same room as us for the first several months, we’ve had to rearrange the furniture quite a bit to make room for the baby.
After finally figuring out the furniture situation, we were able to set up the important items like her crib, car seat, and stroller. Luckily we didn’t have to get rid of any furniture since we were able to use the office space more effectively. The next items that we have on our todo list are preparing our bags for the hospital, wash all of her bottles and clothes that we received from the baby shower, and to get as much rest as possible.
My wife just went on maternity leave this week and will hopefully get at least a week to rest before the baby comes. I on the other hand am currently working on-call which lets me set my own schedule. So, I’ll continue to pick up shifts as needed but will likely take a few weeks off once she’s born.

So we have somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks left before the baby comes and it’s all I can think about now.
