So I had finally heard back from the company I had been interviewing for over the past couple of weeks and I was just notified yesterday that they want to move on to the final interview! We had already discussed metrics such as compensation and work availability and this last interview is purely behavioral and logistics, so hopefully this last interview goes as planned and I can be looking at a full-time internship beginning in April! I am very fortunate to have had this opportunity and definitely owe a couple of people for getting it set up in the first place. The last interview is going to be held sometime early next week. The timing is a little worrisome since it looks like I will know their final decision while I’m mid vacation in Hawaii. But all is good it has been an incredible journey thus far throughout the interviewing process and regardless I won’t let the outcome affect my time in Hawaii.
Speaking of Hawaii, we have finalized our tentative schedule for when we arrive to when we leave. I am so excited and cannot wait until the departing date comes to be reunited with some of my best friends in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. To top it my best friend and I had mapped out a few fishing spots for both of our birthdays to go relax and see what we can catch! The activities for the week will include some typical experiences such as a luau and snorkeling but we are also putting time aside for exploring the island and hiking. I will be sure to post pictures during the time I was there for that blog post week.
This week’s updates are a bit short since it is pretty much a waiting game for Hawaii and hearing back from the mystery company I have been religiously interviewing with. Other than that my week had pretty much been the same, school working out oh and I almost forgot one of my good friends just proposed to his girlfirend! She definitely said yes by the way! How could I forget about that?! Well thanks for tuning in once again, the next few weeks should be much more action-packed, until next time!
