So I had that second interview with the mystery company yet to be revealed and felt that it went very well! I was able to answer most of the questions they had regarding my take-home technical. There were some that I had trouble answering at first, however, with some guidance from my interviewers, I was able to reach a solution. The interview took place on Monday and was told regardless of the decision I should hear back by the end of the week. So, only a few more days and we shall have our answer!
Outside of the interview, a few good friends of mine from undergrad had just finalized our housing accommodations and tickets, and all for a very special trip! We are going to Hawaii! I am super excited for this opportunity to travel there, first and foremost because we will be visiting another good friend from school who was recently stationed out there for the Air Force. And secondly, it’s going to be my first trip there! We are leaving in a couple weeks and staying for a week there. On top of being in Hawaii and seeing my closest friends, we are all going to be celebrating his birthday the day we arrive (the friend who lives there) and then mine a few days later! I am not really one to celebrate my birthday but with these guys, there is no escaping that.
So this week has had a lot of exciting and also anxiety-inducing occurrences. Hopefully, by next week we will all know about that job opportunity. But regardless of that outcome I still have that trip with my friends coming up so I am very grateful for that chance. Well, hopefully, next week I’ll have more to tell you about this job opportunity and what our Hawaii trip will look like!
