Here you can find a selection of media from my latest travels. There are even a few 3D scans included as well!
Arthur’s Seat
Perfect for getting a full view of the surrounding city of Edinburgh. I even went up here on my last day to see the sunrise.
Edinburgh Castle
The castle is surrounded by artillery, with plenty of exhibits on different aspects of Scotland’s past kingdom.
St. Giles Cathedral
An iconic sight with architecture I can’t even believe is real. The photos really don’t do it justice.
Sterling Castle
This castle had a very expansive kitchen with multiple indoor fire pits used for cooking.
University of Edinburgh
A college campus the cohort visited on the first day of the trip. The college has many programs dedicated to preservation works.
Oban
A small city located west of Edinburgh. On our first day here, some of the cohort went to check out the Oban Distillery. Capturing photos there was rather difficult because of the chemicals in the air of some of the rooms.
Glencoe Area
Destinations included a view of Cadbury Castle, a gondola ride up to the Nevis Range, and a peak at Rannoch Moore Bridge of Orchy
Kilmartin Area
Sights include the ancient Kilmartin Standing Stones, Kilmartin Museum, and Easdale Island
3 Isles – Mull, Iona, Staffa
Unfortunately we weren’t able to visit the island of Staffa for safety reasons. A coach tour of Mull took place, while we later got to look around Iona ourselves.
Inverary
Inverary castle was a special sight with many of its highly detailed rooms. The castle is still in use today. We also checked out Dunstaffage Castle/Chapel, and the Inverary Jail
Linlithgow Palace
Rosslyn Chapel
No photos of the inside were taken because of strict photography rules, but the architecture inside was incredible, especially the varying columns.
Craigmillar Castle
The weather felt just right for this location, with the tree in the entrance being a great addition.
Blackness Castle
A castle located right off the coast. There are plenty of outdoor ledges to walk on with plenty of great views and lookout points.
Holyroodhouse Palace
Home to the British Monarch of Scotland. Again, no photos of the inside were allowed, but the surrounding gardens and memorials were a worthwhile sight.
