The inaugural Oregon Bioengineering Symposium will be held at the CH2M Alumni Center on the Oregon State University Campus on November 22, 2019. The meeting will cover all areas of bioengineering/biomedical engineering, with an emphasis on technologies for precision health. The goal of the meeting is to promote collaboration and exchange of ideas between students, researchers and practitioners in Oregon and the surrounding region.

There will be oral presentations throughout the day, and poster presentations in the evening. To be considered for a presentation, an abstract (<250 words) must be submitted. Abstract submission for oral presentations is now closed. Abstract submission for poster presentations will remain open until November 8. All participants, including undergraduate and graduate students, are encouraged to submit abstracts for the poster session. There will be awards for the best student posters. Note that there are a limited number of slots available for oral and poster presentations; early abstract submission will increase the likelihood that your abstract will be selected for a presentation.

Advanced registration costs are $25 for students and post-docs, $60 for faculty and $125 for non-academic registrants for early registration. After November 8, the registration fee goes up by $25. The registration fee is waived for the first 100 people to submit an approved abstract.
