I only have a few ideas of non-infectious diseases that are influenced by microorganisms. These were also pointed out as the top causes of death on Tuesday&#8217;s lecture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Human non-infectious diseases that might be influenced by microbes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Diabetes<\/li><li>Cancer <\/li><li>Cardiovascular Diseases (heart disease, high blood pressure, etc.) <\/li><li>Allergies <\/li><li>Asthma or other Respiratory chronic conditions <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Image obtained from gettyimages.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week I have read over the introductory paper on the Human Microbiome which links individual&#8217;s microbiome to their wellbeing.
