Additionally, most of the diseases that I listed were topics that were discussed in class and this has definitely been ingrained into my memory.  Moreover, I think that I have a better understanding of the diseases that are listed above than those that I listed for week 1.  Overall, I think the most important topics that I can take away from this course is how the gut microbiome affects the brain.  I think this sticks with me the most because it&#8217;s the topic that I&#8217;ve spent the most time on, especially since its for my final review essay.
