Some choices that I make in terms of food and nutrition that may impact my microbial communities include eating a large amount of leafy greens, which are high in fiber. Given that I was raised in an Asian household, we ate a lot of bok choy and gailon, both of which are fibrous. Some non-intentional choices that I likely make now include accidentally consuming more starches than I have before and most likely less of the fibrous leafy greens.
