Chemistry<\/strong>, Carleton College<br><strong>M.S. Ocean Ecology and Biogeochemistry<\/strong>, Oregon State University<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a concurrent M.S.-PhD student with the Reimers Lab, I am broadly interested in the cycling of carbon along continental margins, from the air-sea interface to sediments. My M.S. research currently explores the seasonal and spatial variability in benthic metabolism along the Oregon shelf, through the use of sediment incubation experiments and hydrographic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My funding is through the Regional Class Research Vessel Project, through which I plan to pursue my PhD. My work with the project currently focuses on the calibration of two of the underway sensors, the Picarro G2401 Gas Analyzer and the Apollo AS-P3 pCO2 sensor.
